long over due post. MAC & more haul.

How has everyone been? Hope great. I've been a really busy gal lately. God, talk about working 6 days for weeks. Just really tired & over whelmed!! Anyway, just wanted to do a post on some of the things that I've hauled on last week.

Firstly, I am so impressed with Heatherette!! I thought the packaging were gonna be stickers just like Fafi but to my surprise, they're not!! Great packaging & super cute stuff in the Heatherette Collection. I love it. I also got a few of MAC's Beauty Powder Blushes. I love those as well. Talk about intense color pay off. I also got a few other stuff from MAC as well. Here is what I hauled from MAC last week Friday.

I am very content with my purchase. So excited to play with all my stuff.

I also got my nails done. I am so into animal print, it's not even funny. So I decided that I wanted to do black tips on my nails but I wasn't happy with it just being black because that's just a little too plain for my taste soooooooooooo, I decided I wanted some type of animal print on my nail tips & I thought of doing a zebra print. I love it. So I have black tips with white zebra patterns on them. There's a pic posted below of how they look. Pat was so sweet to pay for me to get my nails done & wait about an hour & half for me to get it done. Guys can actually be patient sometimes. LOL.

OMG, last week the Boyfriend & I did major shopping damage. We spent money like there was no tomorrow. We went to Walmart & bought the unnecasary. $300+ right down the drain on things that we really didn't need. Hah. Whatever though. We had fun. I also treated Landon, Pat & his cousin to Sushi because Landon demanded that he wanted to eat sushi. So we ate at Genki Sushi. God, we're like regulars there. Their spicy tuna rolls are to die for! I love how spicy they are. So, when we got home guess what I purchased next? 2 roundtrip tickets for Pat & I to go to Oahu in April. The cheapest rates I could find was through Aloha Airlines at $49 one way. So I coughed up about $220+ for our tickets. I am so excited to go to Oahu because of the MAC store there. I wonder how much damage I'm gonna do? I don't even wanna have to think about that. LOL. I can't wait to go shopping & clubbing up there. I wanna experience the night life in Oahu. I'm sure that it's totally different from what Maui has to offer.

Anyway, I'm hoping to post a few looks using my new MAC stuff. Maybe I'll play with makeup right now ;) I don't have anything better to do ;] Laters girls.

5 must-not haves.

I decided to do a seperate post for this. Anyway, I got tagged by miss RenRen so thanks Ren for tagging me ;]

So I have to name 5 must-not have items & this is a lot harder than it seems since I never do think about this kinds of things. I always think about the opposite like the MUST haves. LOL. So I'll think hard about this one.

5 MUST-NOT HAVES

1. MAC METAL-X CREAM EYESHADOWS
I can't believe I own all except for maybe 1 or 2. They crease like there's no tomorrow & no matter how good of a base you have, it'll still crease. & at $16.50 per e/s, that is such a rip off!

2. MAC NAKED YOU MSF
I love MAC's MSF's but Naked You is just too chunky & glittery. It's so pretty in the pot but when applied, it's just a bunch of glitter all over your face.

3. MAC FROST PIGMENT
Of all pigments, this is my least favorite one. It's almost unwearable because of it's texture. Very chunky & glittery. & since it's a pigment, it gets all over the place. This is one pigment that I would not re-purchase.

4. CLINIQUE HIGH DEFINITION MASCARA
This mascara is so irritating because it does nothing for my lashes. My lashes are really short & have the hardest time curling & I thought this mascara would make a difference on my lashes but I was wrong. At $14 for one, there are drugstore brands that cost less with better results!

5. MAC EYELASH CURLER
All I can say is eeeeeeewwwwww! Waste of money. It does not do anything at all. I hate MAC's eyelash curlers & mascaras. Enough said.

So there you have it. I seriously don't know who to tag because it seems as if everyone has already been tagged. But if you haven't been tagged yet, you are more than welcome to reply to this ;]

if only i'd remember to bring my camera wherever i go!

Hey everyone. OMG, I haven't been on this thing for a while. BUSY!!!! & that's all I can say. Just wanted to blog real quick just to update this thing. I've got some great news that I want to share with everyone. So here it goes.

I'm gonna be an aunty all over again!!!!

I am so stoked. I know my sister is very young but she's not the only one out there getting pregnant. LOL. I am super stoked for her! I can't wait to meet baby. Finding out about her being pregnant is so exciting that it feels like I just found out that I was pregnant. It's on that same level. The feeling of taking care of a little one is just astonishing!!!! Of course daddy was not too thrilled about the news because his daddy's girl is having a little one. So I had to be the one to break the news to him & I decided to tell him when he was drunk so that he could sleep on it a bit. LOL.

It was my dad's bday & we decided to celebrate by going to a nightclub, so basically the news was like a bitter sweet bday present. My sister wants my mom & I to experience the first ultrasound with her & I am totally excited for that. I think I'm gonna cry! Hah. Too bad no pictures of lastnight's event because as always, I tend to forget my camera at home. I even charged my battery for this & stupid me forgot all about it.

& one more thing. If any of you ever come to Maui, you guys have to experience this show called "Ulalena." OMG!!!! It was such a phenominal experience. I give that show a 10!!! 2 thumbs up for sure.

Well it's time to wrap it up. I promise I'll update when I can. I would've had over 10 FOTD's to post but my camera is always stuck at home ;( I am so forgetful!

Urban Decay Haul, Pictures & Reviews!!

Hi everyone. So, I finally found the time to post this post. It's long overdue & I apologize for that. I worked a graveyard shift lastnight & was supposed to post this while at work but those suckers blocked the internet access. It now requires a username & password to log on to the internet ;/ Whatevs.

So anyway, here is my Urban Decay haul. I love this stufffffffffffff!! ;]

Ain't it super cute?? I think they're just adorable, especially the single compacts. Here are the swatches of the palette & the 3 single eyeshadows that I got. I hope you guys can see them. The top 3 swatches are the single eyeshadows & the other 9 swatches came all together in one palette. I did not use any base for these particular swatches & the shadows were not packed on as well. I used MAC's #242 brush for all swatches.

As you can see, they've got great color payoff ;] So the next swatches are Urban Decay & MAC eyeshadows. I've compared them to eachother with UD being on the left & MAC being on the right. I tried to compare colors that were similiar & some are just off, so SORRY about that. Again, I did not use a base for these swatches.

TOP ROW; LEFT TO RIGHT:
UD Shag vs. MAC Woodwinked
UD Scratch vs. MAC Trax

MIDDLE ROW; LEFT TO RIGHT:
UD Underground vs. MAC Star Violet
UD Sting vs. MAC Romping

BOTTOM ROW; LEFT TO RIGHT:
UD Heat vs. MAC Cranberry
UD Adore vs. MAC Deep Truth

TOP ROW; LEFT TO RIGHT:
UD Fishnet vs. MAC Stars n' Rockets
UD Honey vs. MAC Cosmic

MIDDLE ROW; LEFT TO RIGHT:
UD Ransom vs. MAC Violet Trance
UD Graffiti vs. MAC Steamy

BOTTOM ROW; LEFT TO RIGHT:
UD Zero vs. MAC Blacktied
UD Peace vs. MAC Jewel Blue

& here's a swatch of UD Graffiti(left) & MAC Steamy(right). I used Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP) as a base for these. Just look how much more vibrant the colors are, especially when applied over a base!! Gotta love it! So here is some info & a quick review on these products.

You can purchase Urban Decay products directly from their website which is urbandecay.com. I highly recommend these Deluxe eyeshadows & Urban Decay's Primer Potion.

Deluxe Eyeshadow Palette
This Palette contains 9 Eyeshadows, 2 sponge tip applicators & a mini bottle of UDPP. It all comes in this cute velvet like compact with sequins on the front of the palette. It's great for on-the-go applications or touch ups because it's small, convenient & it has a mirror as well. It's lightweight & basically fits right into your bag. The price is really affordable, just $36 USD for all those products. This palette is awesome, especially for beginners. There's a great amount of colors ranging from bold to neutral colors.

Deluxe Single Eyeshadow
Some might find these single eyeshadows a bit pricey but I think they're afforadable because of the way they were designed. You get an eyeshadow that comes in a cute compact with it's own unique design on the cover. Again, great for on-the-go applications or touch ups because it's small, convenient & it has a mirror. That's right, a mirror! They're much bigger than a MAC eyeshadow & at $18 USD per eyeshadow, I find that it's a great investment ;] The packaging for the palette & single compacts are very chic. There's 12 single eyeshadows altogether but if you want, you can purchase the palette & get Adore, Sting & Heat eyeshadow singles & that'll complete your Deluxe Eyeshadow collection. You'll then have every color!! But if you're a die hard makeup collector & get a kick out of cute packaging then you might wanna get the single compacts.

Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP)
Everyone knows that this base is the greatest base everrrrr. It intensifies the color of your eyeshadow, crease proof & makes your eyeshadow last all day. The sponge tip applicator makes for easy applicationFor a full size bottle, it's $16 USD or you can get 2 for $25 USD. These babies will last you a long time & right when you thought you've run out of product, cut that sucker open. You'll find A LOT more product left in that thing. But remember if you purchase the palette, you'll be getting a mini UDPP with the palette.

All in all, I find that these eyeshadows are heaven sent ;] The color payoff is amazing with or without a base, they give you A LOT of product for the amount that they're charging. The finish & texture of the eyeshadows are soft & creamy, easy to blend, decent amount of shimmer, no chunks of glitter & crease proof when used with UDPP!! So here's my final verdict.

I give these items a 5/5. These eyeshadows are hotttt, packaging cute, decent prices & long lasting. Highly recommended!!

recovery stage.

Hey everyone! I'm so sorry for the lack of updates. I promised myself that if I made this blog that I'd devote most of my time to it but I haven't been keeping my word. I have been really busy with so much things so I apologize. So here's a quick update on everything.

This past Friday, my lil' sister had her going away party. It was fun while it lasted but there was so much drama at one point & I hated that. I had a great time though. I got to chill with old friends which was great. Some who I haven't seen or spoke to in years. I got to chill with Pat which is always awesome! We're approaching our 5 year Anniversary in April by the way. I am totally in love with this guy. I freckin' love it! Hah. How corny was that?

I'm still working on my "Featured Fave" idea. I've decided that I will announce what item I'm giving away ahead of time before I randomly choose my featured fave so that everyone will know what is up for grabs & just incase you were chosen as my ff then you probably wouldn't have a duplicate item as I will be choosing items from Limited Edition collections. Does that make sense? I hope it did :) If not, I'm sorry! I'm so exhausted! I'm totally recovering from partying so hard this weekend. Damn!

As yall know, boyfriend ordered the Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow Palette for me along with 3 single Deluxe Shadows as well & guess what? I finally got them in a few days ago. As soon as I got home from my Mom's house, went to the room to find a box sitting on my bed & I already knew what that was!! I swatched the colors & compared them to MAC eyeshadows as well. I am so tired to post the swatches & comparisons tonight but I promise I will do them tomorrow or should I say later on in the day since it's already 1:50am here in Hawaii. All I can say is that I don't regret getting these eyeshadows! They are really pigmented & have great color payoff!!!! So be sure to check my blog out for the swatches, comparisons with MAC shadows, a full review on these UD Deluxe Shadows, pictures of my haul & more :)

So for now, I'll leave you guys with a picture that I stole from my sister's myspace since I forgot to bring my camera to her going away party. *POUTS* Yes, she is my younger sister & I know she's prettier than me. LOL. Wanna know something cool though? Don't remember if I mentioned this on here or not but my sister & I have the same birthday but different years. Super coincidence. LOL. & I am aware that we don't look alike. pshhh.

Shopping!!!!!!!!

Okay, so I went to MAC again on Friday to get a Fafi makeover. I bought some things for me & for my sister as well. I spent more money on her though since she's the only sister that I have & she'll be moving to the PI soon :(

My Haul:
-Charged Water Renewal Defense
-Strawbaby l/s
-Squeeze It l/g
-Contrast e/s
-Photogravure Technakohl Liner
-Graphblack Technakohl Liner

& for my sister, I got her 5 nailpolishes & makeup wipes.

After that, I took my Mom, Sister & Grandma shopping in Wetseal. We bought loads of underwear there because I love their undies. They're so comfortable & completely affordable! Of course, my Grandma didn't get thongs but she got those cute granny underwear. LOL. She's so adorable!! I also got a cute halter top in an Ivory color. I already have the black one & since I love it so much, I decided to get another one in a different color. LOL. I also bought my sister a super cute dress for her going away party. Sometimes I think I'm a little too nice. Hahahaha.

Of course we couldn't leave the mall without buying my little Landon something. Sometimes Fun Factory isn't enough. So Patrick & I bought him a jumping castle which cost $150. We also bought him a bunch of those balls that you can put in the jumping castle. He is totally in love with it!! It's a workout for him! The jumping castle is pretty big & holds up to 180 lbs. so our money was totally worth it.

& since it was our anniversary yesterday, Patrick bought me some makeup online from Urban Decay. I've heard so much about their Deluxe Eyeshadows that I had to get my hands on them & after seeing Renren & P0wp0wbaby use those Deluxe Eyeshadows in their videos, I WAS SOLD!!! So Pat was nice enough to get me the following items.

Urban Decay Haul:
-Deluxe Shadow Box (which includes the following 9 colors below)
(Fishnet, Honey, Ransom, Graffiti, Zero, Peace, Shag, Scratch, Underground)

& I also got some single colors which weren't included in the Shadow box which are:
-Adore
-Heat
-Sting

I am super stoked because I got all the Deluxe colors that they have & I am so excited to use it! I think I'm gonna do a review & some swatches of these colors for everyone to see. Maybe It'll help people who are interested in getting these shadows. This will be my very first products from Urban Decay. I have UDPP but that's about it. Urban Decay will be the second brand of makeup that I own. Everything I have right now is all MAC! Phew, it's not like I need another makeup brand to be addicted to!

Anyway, I wish I didn't forget my camera when we went out on Friday so I could take pics of my FOTD's. Stupid me forgot my camera! But I loved my makeover. If you wanna try & replicate the look, here's the main products the MUA used on my eyes & lips. I hope you folks like my "no-photo" FOTD's. LOL.

MAC makeover:
Perky p/p on lid
Pink Venus on lid
Nice Vice p/p in crease
Star Violet in Crease
Contrast e/s on outter corners
Buerre c/s/l
Strawbaby l/s
Cult Fave l/g

We also had a family party on Friday & these were the main products that I used on my eyes & lips.

Cash Flow p/p on lid
Woodwinked e/s on lid
Saturnal e/s in crease (I think)
Typographic on outter corners

Alright I guess this is a wrap. I'll be sure to post pics of my UD haul & some swatches & a written review on them. Till next time, take care :)

First off, I am long over due for this but better late than never right? So, I wanted to post my Fafi Haul. This collection was quite disappointing & although it was, I still managed to spend a few hundred dollars. So here's what I got in no specific order.

Phew! & MAC sent me 3 of those post cards. 2 of them came with my orders that I ordered online. I got the bags & the dolls online. Stupid me, I did 2 seperate transactions for those. I don't know what I was thinking at the time. LOL. Now time to save for Heatherette. Thank god that collection isn't too big. I'm lookin' at about spending no more than $200, even less :) & here's a picture of my Fafi haul!

Oh & this was my FOTD that I wore out on Friday which is always "family day" for Patrick, Landon & I. As long as I get Friday off, we always go out as a family. We took Landon to Fun Factory. He loves it there! I always have a hard time getting him out! Anyway, here's the look. Very neutral as I was going for a subtle day time look. I'll try to remember what I used :/ All MAC unless otherwise stated.

-Dark MSFN
-Pinch O' Peach Blush
-Light Flush MSF

Lips:
-Prep & Prime Lip
-Sublime Culture c/s/l
-4N l/s
-Lightswitch 3D glass

So that's that. Now onto the bad news. Early Sunday Morning, some freckin' idiot did a "hit & run" on my car. He banged my car from the back & fled the scene. No license plate number taken down because it was too dark to see which means no police report! Some idiots are just stupid. They can't understand what a red light means. I guess he was thinking that red lights indicate for you to go "faster" because that's exactly what he did. Thank god no human injuries though, although my heart is badly bruised because of what happened to my car :( My car is not even 3 years old! Thank god for insurance though!!!! Now I finally realize how important insurance is. LOL. But I can only imagine, what if someone got badly injured or the accident was fatal even & this guy just fled the scene. All I can say is KARMA. I'm still very pissed & hurt at my car situation but I don't know anyone who wouldn't be right? So here's the damage ;( It's not too bad but they have to replace alot because of where the damage & dents are. They need to replace the bumper, skirt, tail light & that whole area by the gas tank which is connected to that part above my tail lights & leads all the way to the front of my car.

When my Scion gets fixed, I'm thinking about trading it in. I'm thinking about the newer XB's because they have so much more space. The only thing I don't like about it is the look of the car but I'm sure I can deal with that. But the inside is so much nicer than the inside of my car. Very roomy, much better looking & bigger trunk space! I'm also leaning towards a Nissan Armada because I've been wanting one forever but That SUV is wayyyyyyyyyyyy to big for me to drive & I'm also thinking about an Infiniti G35 because I also wanted that as well but I need a family car, not a luxury one. HELP!! Any suggestions?

Well it's late so I should wrap this up! Gotta make a few very important phone calls to Auto Body Shops tomorrow.
